WHAT ARE YOUR BILLING, PAYMENT & DROP POLICIES?

In a nutshell for Afterschool Programs:

  • All families are required to have a credit card on file for recurring billing for tuition to auto draft each month.

  • Payment by cash or check, needs to be turned in by the 20th of the month prior to the following month. Bounced checks incur in a $40 Bounce Check Fee, and will not be allowed to pay by check in the future.

  • Membership tuition will be auto drafted on the 1st of each month (or by the first Monday of each month) from your credit card on file and you stay enrolled on a rolling basis until you give us the required 15 days drop notice.

  • Your first month’s tuition will be prorated based on when you start your enrollment in the month.

  • We do not “auto drop” for those that stop showing up for class. You must notify us via email 15 days in advanceyou may call 303-341-4065 to get accurate contact email information and/or to show evidence that you wrote a cancellation email (outbox)).

    Only a written notice via email (admin@mindcraftmakerspace.com) will be acceptable to drop any participant(s) for any ongoing program/membership. No oral forms will be accepted. You are responsible for payment for your student's classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS until the time you notify the staff VIA WRITTEN NOTICE. Please do not rely on your child/children/participant(s) to verbally let us know that he/she/them will no longer be attending classes. If a student stops coming to class without notification then that student's account will be charged for any following month until a notice is received and will take effect 15 days after the notice is received. This charge will be for holding the student's place in that class instead of offering that place to one on a waiting list.

  • Accounts that are consistently late or owe a payment will be charged $10 per week past their due date and will be eventually flagged for late payment.

DO YOU OFFER A SIBLING DISCOUNT?

Yes. We offer a 10% sibling discount for any subsequent siblings when the children are enrolled on a monthly membership, or the same days/weeks for a camps/workshop/session. Sibling discounts cannot be combined with any other discounts, offers or prorations.

CAN MY CHILD MAKE UP A DAY?

  • Each child can receive ONE unexcused (i.e. no need to provide proof of doctor’s visit, hospital or school note) makeup class a month per enrollment, as long as the absence was notified in advance (24 hours in advance if possible, and no later than the morning of the program for afterschool programs). You must notify us and a makeup token applied to your account.

  • Your makeup token can be used on a different day with availability in the same month and up to two weeks into a new month, if and only if the excused absence happens on the last week of the current month. Unused make up tokens do not accrue and will expired within the same month.

  • All makeup classes must be pre-scheduled through the front office to ensure class availability before coming in. 

  • There are NO refunds, discounts, or pro-rations for missed days.

  • Make up days for medical reasons will be honored if and only if an official doctor’s or hospital’s note is provided.

  • Whenever MindCraft closes due to weather or other situations out of our control we generate a make up day for the children scheduled for the day of closure, and this make up does not expire until the end of the Semester in session, as long as the child still holds a membership with us.

  • A ‘no-show’ without any kind of previous communication will result in a lost day (no make up tokens will be generated).

  • Drop-ins also qualify for make up days unless they are ‘no-shows’.

  • Additional absences within the same month, not due to illness or emergency, will not qualify for additional make up days. An official doctor's or hospital's note will be required for prolonged absences in the same month in order to be considered for additional make-up days.
