Maker Parties

We offer a variety of unique and creative maker themed parties for children ages 5-12.  Select a theme, reserve a date and time (weekends only), choose a preferred package and then invite your guests.

1.5 hour event that includes birthday party decorations (birthday party banner included) and one project (all materials and tools included) led by a MindCraft team member.

Don’t worry about clean-up, it’s on us!

 Please note that a non-refundable deposit of $200 will be required to book your party at least 2 weeks in advance. A 2nd $100 installment will be collected the day before the party and the remaining balance will be collected after the party (on the same enrollment platform).

Themes

Recommended for ages 6+ years old (see pictures below):

- Medieval Castles: Build a 3D model/puzzle of a Medieval Castle that doubles as a desktop pencil & marker holder, and paint it.

- Secret Agents: Get a code name, make a faux book or briefcase to hide your valuables, and learn to lift some fingerprints.

- Slime Lab – Create butter slime and silly putty, and decorate with glitter, foam balls and/or beads.

Only for ages 8+ years old (see pictures below):

- Tinkerbots: Build a moving (vibrating/hovering) “Robot”

- Sew Crafty: Learn how to a pillow or clutch. *Sewing parties include a $5 extra charge per kid. A maximum of 6 kids can participate.

- 3D Design & Printing - Learn 3D design for 3D printing and get your own 3D print *3D Printing Birthdays have an additional charge of $10 per child. A maximum of 8 children can participate.

*Note: the 3D prints may not be ready by the end of the party, so you and your friends may need to pick them up during the week.

Additional Information:

• Children 3 years old and under CANNOT participate from any of the activities led by our staff and must be under adult supervision at ALL times. 

• Children 4 years old can participate from the birthday party activity only if an adult (guardian, grandparent, nanny, etc.) sits with them to help them through the entirety of the activity.

• No alcohol allowed for children’s birthday parties.

• Tips for party attendants are not included. Tipping your attendant is appreciated. All tips paid in cash will go directly to the attendant(s), any tips paid with a credit card will be deducted a flat $2 transaction fee before it is paid to the attendant and their helper(s). No Tips go to the business.

• We will provide utensils, plates, cups, napkins, and bowls for food for Option 2 parties only.

• You can bring food and drink if you select Option 1, however you will be responsible of picking up any food items after the party is over. Plan accordingly if you are bringing additional food or drinks, bring a cooler, plates, utensils, napkins, etc.

• No food or drinks will be permitted around the computers, 3D printers, sewing machines or other equipment (ex. Microscopes, vinyl cutters, etc.). If you need additional space for adults and non-participants we can add space rental to your party at a reduced rate if available.
